I’m Toby—a recording, mixing, and mastering engineer based in London. I started Lumae Audio to help artists create records that feel as good as they sound—warm, honest, and human. Whether you’re crafting a full album or one track, my goal is always the same: to bring out the emotional core of your music with care, detail, and a little production magic.

I started Lumae because I love making music with people. Simple as that.

At Lumae, I focus on warm, honest, and detailed production. This isn’t about over-polishing or chasing trends — it’s about getting to the heart of the song and creating a space where artists can feel confident, heard, and proud of their work.
Music has been with me since I was a child. I started playing piano at four, then drums and guitar at nine. By fourteen, I’d fallen in love with recording — and I’ve been recording music, building microphones and occasionally setting guitars on fire ever since.
My hope is that every artist who comes my way feels completely welcome not just as a client, but as a collaborator. I want you to leave feeling more confident in your sound, and more knowledgeable about the process of making records.
